The RuK Solar Innovation Project
Not only will purchasing a RuK Pack help you dominate your day, but it will have direct impact on supporting an incredible cause. RuK® is very proud to play a role in the development, support and innovation of some of the world’s most underprivileged societies. In partnership with the Mbenga Foundation™, RuK® has committed to providing a percentage of proceeds for each RuK Pack sold towards the purchase of solar lighting in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
With your help, RuK® will purchase over 2000 individual solar powered, motion-sensor lights to be delivered to the DRC in 2020. This effort will provide safety and security for women and children that live in fear of theft, invasion, and rape that plagues villages without electricity during the night.
As a result of RuK’s commitment and success in innovation, The RuK® Founders have also been invited to participate in the 2020 Sultani Makutano Innovation Summit in Kinshasa, DRC; an event to share best practices and further help the great people of the DRC Dominate develop infrastructure.
